Over several decades I have taken thousands of photographs of buildings, family members, and family occasions. A small minority of photographs just caught my fancy at the time. So far there has been only two photographs I have deliberately taken for potential artistic merit, and that is the one of hay bales and the one I call "Reflection" (not shown). My main photographic focus has been on developing virtual tours. The photographs below is a collection of my favourites.
I started out using a Fujifilm S602Zoom semi-professional camera with a 35 mm equivalent lens and a limited auto-bracketing dynamic range ± 0.3 EV. Later on I purchased a Sony NEX-5N with a dynamic auto-bracket range of ± 3.0 EV. My Sony lens collection include the E16mm F2.8, E18-55mm F3.5-5.6 OSS, and the Fisheye Converter VCL ECF1. In January 2024 I purchased an INSTA360 ONE RS 1-inch camera with a dynamic range of ± 4.5 EV in 9 steps.
The apps I have at hand to process photographs include PhotoDirector 2024, Affinity Photo 2, PTGui Pro 13.3, and Insta360 Studio.
