This website is a self indulgent record of my interests and activities in lieu of Facebook which has limited functionality. I use Facebook only for the convenience of logging onto a number of websites and I don't have a Twitter account. There are some limits to my self indulgence.

I am now semi-retired after a career of working as a Professional Swimming Coach, Architect, and Academic.

In July 2013 I closed down my business website IJBRC Electronic Publications in which I promoted Virtual Tours, Virtual Objects, Dashboards, and E-Learning. I have transferred some of these projects to this website and I am still especially proud of my Regent Theatre virtual tour.

In October 2015 my interests and activities returned to undertaking research on issues of sustainability. I subsequently added a Sustainability and a Research section to this website. The Sustainability section grew topsy-turvy over the next year or so to the extent that in March 2017 I transferred both the Sustainability section and the related Research section to a new website In Search of Steady State.

In November 2018 I started to write an update to my sub-thesis In Search of Steady State which I wrote in my final year of an architectural degree, This update has finished up as a work-in-progress web publication which can be viewed on my website Issues of Sustainability. I spent a major part of my time and efforts on this website until February 2022 when I started to develop a website for Seniors Climate Action Network (SCAN) which I had joined in 2016.

One of my life-time activities has been playing the chromatic harmonica. My DM48 Digital Chromatic Harmonica (MIDI Wind Controller) arrived in late April 2017. This website includes a diary of my experiments with setting up my DM48 Digital Harmonica, Digital Audio Workshop (DAW), and VST patches. My DM48 diary also includes examples of my progress in playing.

On 18 September 2019 I added a diary of my artwork. I regret my progress and activity on my artwork has once again been limited due to my focus of the moment being diverted to other activities. I would rather have too many activities on the go than too few.

On 5 October 2020 I started to develop a section on my life-time sports activities of swimming, running, and tennis, including photographs.

On 12 October 2020 I started to develop a section on writing.

On 18 March 2023 I started to redevelop my section on virtual tours and on 7 January 2024 I started to redevelop my section on virtual objects.
